Let's Enjoy A New York Dinner
Visiting New York will never be complete without partaking of the pleasure of its gastronomical offerings. And it does not matter if you go for a good dinner in a fine New York bistro or just choose lesser glamorous eating places in the area, you are assured of an experience that will goes beyond time.
New York represents many things and images to different people. The place is considered to a melting pot of different cultures and races making it consequently as the center of the world. Beyond its many accolades, we all know that New York is one of the priciest cities to go to. Yet for some, New York is the center of the September 11 terrorism tragedy. To food lovers, however, New York is the place to dine most especially if budget is not a big concern.
Going downtown or just to small lesser known streets of New York City, I bet that you can find whatever you want at a price you can’t dictate, of course. You may prefer for Japanese sashimi, Italian risotto, English pudding, Spanish paella, Filipino dishes, Asian cuisines , authentic American burgers…just name it and you can find them somewhere in New York. The only thing to fret about is choosing which is the best among limitless choices as well as, of course, what your wallets can afford.
New York truly boasts of everything you can think of under the sun. You may be thinking of looking for astoundingly low-priced value meals or absolutely luxurious gourmet dishes, New York restaurants surely can offer it to you.
Claims remain claims if not backed up by facts. So we will go for some reviews on the enigmatic New York food scene which has exceptional wonderful restaurant destinations. Below are some of the best of what New York has on the menu. I am personally recommending these places.
Michael Jordan’s The Steakhouse NYC : For the fans of the legendary Michael Jordan, this place is a must. And forgetting to visit while you are in New York could be a mortal sin. So what makes this place so special in the first place aside from the famous name? As expected the interior of the place represents Michael Jordan’s taste of lifestyle. And importantly, the choice of menu is definitely worth of praise even from a strictest food critic. Your stay in New York will only be complete if you grab a pie of this popular restaurant. The great restaurant is located right in the North and West balconies of the Grand Central Terminal.
Harlem Grill : Based on many surveys, Harlem Grill is proud to be consistently part of the top 10 among thousands of establishments. And rightly so you will agree once you are in the place with its very energetic ambiance and very luxurious feasts offered. The restaurant is owned by equally famous actor Keith David and is surely making a killing in the New York restaurant skyline. The Harlem Grill is operating business at 2247 Adam Clayton, Powell Boulevard.
Teodora : This fine dining restaurant is the one I recommended if you are planning to have a memorable romantic dinner. As they say, there is nothing else comparable to Teodora to enhance your relationship or just impress your date. Serving Italian food known for passion, zeal and pasta, it’s not a surprise then that the restaurant is having a very heartwarming romantic ambiance. Teodora is to be found at 141 East 57th Street, New York City.
Let’s go dining in New York City!

Hotel Del Coronado
Ask anyone in California where are the best beaches located in San Diego and most likely you will be referred to the Coronado Island. Conveniently linked by the Island Bay Bridge to the San Diego downtown, Coronado Island is the official base of the SEALs training center as well as the Naval Air Station Coronado. Considered as a military powerhouse, the island of Coronado is always teeming of activities and excitement.
When you are in Coronado, take a peek at its globally known Hotel Del Coronado. With its Victorian era inspired style, this coastal hotel was founded more than 100 years ago – specifically in 1888. Proud to be the best and the biggest hotel of the whole Coronado, it figured in history as it once hosted the legendary Marilyn Monroe as well as the Duke and Duchess of Windsor.
The Hotel Del Coronado offers best service available as well as spectacular views of the San Diego area. Don’t forget to at least savor the best food offered by the restaurant located in the hotel. You can choose to just enjoy your fabulous meal even without checking in with the hotel. Chosen by thousands of visitors annually from people all over the country and the world, an experience in Hotel Del Coronado is definitely a very memorable one.
For shoppers and art lovers, visit Coronado’s The Ferry Landing Marketplace which boast of more than thirty shops, bistros, and art galleries. Just walk around and enjoy the buzzing place and connect with the vibe of the place. With its many shops, I am sure you can find something to bring back home as souvenirs.
And if you are already in The Ferry Landing, it would be nice if you will continue your adventure by going to the Tidelands Park. The park is a great place for some energizing walk or just a stroll supplemented by splendid views of San Diego skyline. At sunset, expect the place to transform into a very relaxing and romantic haven for couples and even singles at heart. Every Tuesday of each week, a farmers’ market is held in the place.
And of course, we should not forget the beaches. The Coronado Beach is situated along the Travel Channel. Just north of the place you can explore the Best Weekend Getaway Beach. One thing I really like here is the fact that even during summer the beach is not filled with so much beach goers. Therefore, you and your whole family can maximize your stay here without the annoyance created by overpopulated areas.
If you are staying in the Glorietta Bay Inn, you can take a pleasant walking tour on the area. Organized tours are done for several schedules each week. Tours are excellent choice if you really want to know the place better and want to see everything the area has to offer. For the adventurers, maybe a pedicab tour is a good choice to explore the island.
Another excellent choice is the Gondola Cruise which is best way to relax and unwind as well as feel the romantic atmosphere as the ferry maneuvers through the canals of Coronado Cays.
Whatever you may have in mind for taking the time off, Coronado Island can easily fulfill that desire. With great beaches, modern facilities, magnificent views, great places to visit and lots of activities to be a part of, I am sure Coronado Island is the best for you!
Coronado Island will be happy to see you!

Welcome To New York
Welcome to New York City—the city that refuses to sleep. And rightly so, with limitless choices of places to see and things to do, New York City requires more than just 24 hours a day to see the sights. For the start, you can explore the Statue of Liberty, the Madison Square Garden, Central Park and devil knows what else. However, you got to find the place to stay in New York first!
Declared as one of the most expensive city, the cost of living and rent expenses are all skyrocketing here in New York City. As for foods, some lesser-known restaurants are offering relatively reasonable dining so it is just a matter of finding out.
When we talk of shopping, New York City is more than what you see in Macy’s. Of course, there are a lot more! In New York, you can search for bazaars open throughout New York City. To get to the places you want, you may need a competent guide.
Going around famous place around the city does not automatically mean you must shell out money. For instance, you can just walk around New York City downtown and it would be enough for you to get enthralled and get absorbed by the magic.
Now, let’s go back finding the right place to stay. But first, I must let this warning comes first. The term affordability or reasonability could mean different things from a person to another and certainly from one place to another. This is quite true as far as New York is concerned. Now, if you still want to enjoy the beauty of the city but short of cash and you have some friends or relatives within the area, it would be best to stay with that person while staying in New York.
This is not to discourage anyone especially if you don’t have any connection here but it is just setting the reality straight. As for being expensive, there’s nothing we can on that.
New York’s landscape is littered by high rise towers and some of those are world-famous hotels. Hotels vary from the well-known luxurious five star hotels to less popular offering more affordable packages. So below are some of my suggestions.
Four Season Hotel: This is a very family-friendly hotel and they are offering free stay for kids below 18 of age. Considered as the tallest hotel in New York City, family guests can avail of coloring books, free use of a video library and some cute welcome gifts for children.
Soho Grand Hotel: Another very popular option in New York City. This is a great location if you intend to go for shopping afterward or visits the adjacent classy restaurants in the Soho area. You can also bring along your pets as the hotel provides pet-friendly rooms for their guests. I don’t know if they are still running a promotion of giving out goldfish upon check-out.
Affinia 50 Suites: Considered as one of the Top 10 hotels within the New York area, this hotel is providing no non-sense, no-fuzz convenient stay. Formerly named as Plaza 50 Suites, you are assured of basic accommodations that are still easy on your budget. If you demand large suites outfitted with kitchenettes, they also have them.
Hilton Time Square: I know what comes to your mind — Paris Hilton! Okay, this very trendy and well-liked hotel offers one of the best services in town. Stamped as the top stylish hotels in New York City, it has its own twenty-five-seater movie theater and a wax museum! The Hilton Time Square and its entire staff are all aiming to extremely please and serve all types of guests – adult, children and even furry friends.
Plan now to visit New York City. Enjoy the sights and the buzz all over the city. But don’t forget to be ready to foot in the bills.
The Big Apple is waiting for you!
